Thoughself-confidentpeopledobelieveinthemselves,theydon’ttryto suffocateotherswiththeirideasorbeliefs.Theyareconfidentinwhatthey knownotonlybecausetheyread,learnandthinkbutalsobecausetheyrespect theirinstinct,intuitionandtheuniquebodyofknowledgethatthey’ve developedbylivinglife.Theyrealizethatonedoesn'thavetobelabeledan “expert”tobelieveinone'sowntruths.

Self-confidentpeopledon’tunderminetheirownworthbycomparing themselveswithothers,onlytoconcludethattheyaren’t“goodenough”.They apPciatetheirstrengthsandaccomplishmentsandcanacknowledge,without embarrassment,theirweaknesses.Theydon’tliveinthe“victim”position.Even ifsomethingreallybadhasoccurred,theyturnitintoachallenge,remembering tobegratefulforthelittlethingsinlife.

Self-confidentpeoplelettheworldknowwhotheyare.Iftheywant somethingbadlyenough,theyknowtheyhaveeveryrightto“goforit.”Yet, theyalsoknowthatthepathwillrarelybeeasy.Mistakes,blundersand failuresarepartofthelearningprocess.Theyseektolearnfromtheir mistakesanddonotwastetimetorturingthemselvesoverwhat“couldhave been”.

Self-confidentpeoplearenotobstinatepeople.Iftheyhaveanideaabout somethinganditdiffersfromthewayanotherpersonisthinkingaboutit,they willusuallytrytolookatitfromthatperson’spointofview,seewhyit makessensetothem.Yet,aconfidentperson’ssenseofselfisgrounded.It doesnotblowinthewind.Theirideasdonotfluctuatebasedonwhatothers deemareimportant.
